The Avenue Concept

Although The Avenue Concept is not located in the district, we have chosen to include them due to their many contributions of art to the District.

The Avenue Concept's mission has four main elements:

1 - Funding and supporting the creation and installation of artwork in public spaces.

2 - Creating public art encounters by incorporating art more thoroughly into the urban environment and providing opportunities to engage and interact with it.

3 - Developing programs, policies, partnerships, and funding streams that make public art projects more viable and sustainable.

4 - Promoting art and telling stories through documentation, communication, education, and programming.
